Girls' Generation 's Taeyeon will not be taking part in SM Entertainment 's 30th anniversary concert, titled 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL' .

On December 11, Melon Ticket, the official ticketing platform for the concert, announced, " Girls' Generation's Taeyeon will not be performing at 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 SEOUL' ."

The statement also states that the programming adjustments are regrettable and that ticket cancellations and refunds will be made without cancellation fees by the customer service center.

Previously, the concert lineup was scheduled to include various SM artists such as Kangta , BoA , TVXQ , Super Junior , Girls' Generation 's Taeyeon and Hyoyeon , SHINee 's Key and Minho , EXO 's Suho and Chanyeol , Red Velvet , NCT 127 , NCT Dream , WayV , aespa , RIIZE , NCT WISH , nævis , Raiden , and other artists from SM 's subsidiary labels including SMTR25 , Mar Vista , and SM Jazz Trio .

Taeyeon recently released her sixth mini album, titled 'Letter to Myself' . The 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025' concert in Seoul is scheduled for January 11 and 12, 2025 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. The event will also be livestreamed worldwide via Beyond LIVE and Weverse.
