Singer Lee Sang Min spoke out about safety in South Korea following President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of martial law.

In his message, Lee Sang Min states: "Korea can do it. The people of the Republic of Korea will properly handle the current martial law situation."
He added: "The Republic of Korea is neither at war nor in chaos. Martial law was declared due to a political confrontation, and the National Assembly has voted to end martial law. The Republic of Korea is safe. I want to reassure everyone around the world who loves Korea and is concerned about our country."
Lee’s international fans responded to his message with comments like: "Take care of yourself, Sang Min," "Please take care," "Stay safe, oppa," and "Thank you, Sang Min."
