Director Hyun Hae Ri Shares His Memories of Working with the Late Song Jae Rim in "Collapse"

Unforgettable Professionalism
The film 'Collapse', directed by Hyun Hae Ri, represents actor Song Jae Rim's final contribution to the world of cinema.
'Collapse' is inspired by the famous Terra Luna cryptocurrency crisis, which saw approximately 50 trillion KRW (approximately 34 billion USD) disappear. The film explores the lives of young people lured by the promise of quick riches through the stock market and cryptocurrencies.
In this film, Song Jae Rim plays Yang Do Hyun, a cryptocurrency developer who created a virtual currency. His performance offers a completely different dimension compared to his previous roles.
Director Hyun Hae Ri shared his thoughts on Song Jae Rim's performance, saying, "Since he was portraying a character related to a real incident, he approached the role with great seriousness. He was truly a professional."
He also praised the late actor: "He would thoroughly review recent articles every night before filming. He would even suggest changes to the script, saying, 'Should we adjust this part?'"
Song Jae Rim's posthumous film, 'Collapse,' is scheduled for release on January 15.
