Comedian Kim Young Chul finds words to reassure his listeners during difficult times.

On the December 4 KST broadcast of SBS PowerFM's ' Kim Young Chul's PowerFM ,' host Kim Young Chul opened the show with a calm and reassuring voice.

In response to a listener's message saying, "I'm especially happy to hear from you today, Chul-up-DJ," Kim replied, "I'm also happy to hear from you."

Listeners expressed sentiments such as, “Hearing your voice is comforting,” and “I couldn’t sleep, I was scared and trembling, but morning came, as always.” Kim reflected, “Indeed, it’s 7 o’clock as always, and morning is here once again.”

He added, “I think a lot of people had a restless night. I’ve lived 51 years, and even I was stunned. Many of you must have been shaken last night. I went home around 10:30, ready to sleep, but the news was overwhelming. I ended up messaging the radio staff for an hour and barely slept. I think many of you felt the same way.”

Despite the heavy atmosphere, Kim concluded warmly, “Nevertheless, a new day has begun. It’s cold outside, so let’s make sure to send warm messages to check in on each other today.”
