IST Entertainment 's terms for the members to freely use The Boyz 's name under their new agency, ONE HUNDRED , have been revealed.

Media reports on December 4 indicate that the agreement between IST Entertainment and ONE HUNDRED would allow The Boyz to continue using their group name at no cost and includes the following conditions:

1. The Boyz will continue to receive revenue from their previous music releases and content distributed by IST Entertainment for 1 year after the expiration of their exclusive contracts.

2. IST Entertainment will permanently retain the master rights (sound recording rights) to all music released by The Boyz since their debut. ONE HUNDRED will agree not to remake or remaster any of the original songs released by The Boyz under IST. Instead, if The Boyz wishes to use these songs for their future activities, IST will require permission and payment.

3. IST Entertainment retains the right to continue selling remaining inventory of official The Boyz merchandise.

In addition, the agreement allowing the free use of the group's name and brand will be renewed annually with the consent of all 11 members.

Although ONE HUNDRED initially claimed that IST Entertainment had made "unreasonable financial demands" and even imposed "restrictions on the group's activities," many fans, after checking the conditions for themselves, sided with IST Entertainment, arguing that the conditions mentioned were indeed "entirely reasonable."

Regarding the first condition, it was pointed out that this is usually the norm for most deals where artists move from one label to another. For the second condition, fans questioned why ONE HUNDRED objected to IST retaining master rights to The Boyz's past music, unless the label "intended to re-record the songs for profit" . Fans felt that it was indeed "fair" for IST to receive a fee from ONE HUNDRED for the use of past songs released by The Boyz, as the label that had initially invested in producing the music. As for the third condition, fans again found it "understandable" that IST would continue to sell its current inventory of The Boyz merchandise, rather than throwing it away.

Fans left comments criticizing ONE HUNDRED for their inability to move negotiations forward, saying:

"This fee is just what you're supposed to pay to a company that has invested in an artist's growth for 7 years... if you don't want to pay, don't try to recruit already successful artists for free!"

"This company just wants to profit from the success of The Boyz without taking any responsibility..."

"This company is full of thieves... Why don't they throw some newbies in and see what they can achieve in 7 years? Oh wait, they tried and it's not working for them, is it!"

"These conditions are perfectly reasonable for free use of the band's name."

"Of course, this is business. Did you seriously think you would use the band name without paying a dime?"
