K-pop girl group Cignature has officially announced their disbandment, concluding four years of activity since their debut. On December 3, C9 Entertainment shared the news via the group's official fan cafe, mentioning that the decision was made after discussions with all the members.

“After mutual discussions with the members, we have confirmed that the dissolution of the group is necessary. Therefore, all exclusive contracts with the seven members of Cignature will be terminated, regardless of the remaining contract period, and the group’s activities have officially ended on November 30, 2024,” the company said.

C9 Entertainment also expressed its gratitude to the members for their dedication despite many challenges, and apologized to fans for the unexpected announcement. “We sincerely thank the members for their commitment to Cignature . We also apologize to fans for this sudden news and ask for your warm support as the members embark on new journeys in various fields,” the statement concluded.

Cignature debuted in February 2020 under J9 Entertainment , a subsidiary of C9 Entertainment , with their single 'NUN NU NAN NA'. Originally consisting of seven members, the group has undergone several lineup changes over the years. In 2021, original members Ye Ah and Sunn left the group, and new members Chloe and Dohee replaced them, bringing the group back to seven members. However, Chloe's departure earlier this year reduced the group to six members.

Despite multiple transitions between members, Cignature ultimately decided to disband, allowing each member to pursue individual paths after four years together.
