Police have announced that they are preparing to summon WINNER member Song Min Ho for questioning.

At a press conference at the National Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on January 6, a police official confirmed, " He has not yet been questioned ." Authorities are currently focusing on analyzing the evidence needed to verify the allegations, including reviewing CCTV footage from the community welfare facility where he was assigned.

Song Min Ho was implicated in allegations of neglecting his duties as a social worker on December 17, 2024. Colleagues and acquaintances who worked with him reportedly submitted complaints to Dispatch regarding his attendance and behavior.

Although Song Min Ho has taken medical leave due to social anxiety and panic disorder, he has reportedly been seen in public several times. He has reportedly attended parties and camping trips in locations such as Goseong and Yangyang in Gangwon Province.

Following the controversy, the Military Service Administration intervened belatedly and referred the case to the police instead of conducting an internal investigation. Song Min Ho is currently under investigation as a suspect for potential violations of the Military Service Act.

Song Min Ho began his alternative service as a social service officer in March 2023 and was discharged from duty on December 23, 2024.
