Dans un épisode récent de l'émission de variété MBN nommée 'GabojaGO', le célèbre producteur du divertissement Kim Kwang Soo, fondateur de MBK Entertainment, a abordé des rumeurs persistantes l'accusant d'avoir agressé le chanteur et personnalité télévisée Kim Jong Kook, anciennement membre du groupe Turbo.

Kwang Soo, known for his work with numerous K-pop groups such as T-ara and SG Wannabe, has long been surrounded by controversy. The hosts of the show, Ahn Jung Hwan and Hong Hyun Hee, cautiously broached the subject of the alleged assault, hesitant to offend their guest. Nevertheless, Kwang Soo encouraged them to be direct, expressing his desire to clear things up.

Hong Hyun Hee bluntly asked if he had ever physically assaulted Kim Jong Kook, surprised by the idea given his gentle appearance. Ahn Jung Hwan jokingly shared his doubts, pointing out Kim Jong Kook’s impressive build.

Kwang Soo a clarifié que l'incident en question s'était produit alors que Turbo était géré par une autre société. Il a expliqué que Turbo avait rejoint son agence suite à une fusion, ce qui a conduit à la fausse impression qu'il était impliqué dans l'agression. "C'était quelque chose qui s'était passé entre Turbo et le PDG de leur précédente compagnie," a précisé Kwang Soo. "Mais parce qu'ils étaient sous mon agence à ce moment-là, il semblait que j'étais celui qui les avait agressés."

Kim shared a funny story about a later encounter with Kim Jong Kook, where he joked, "Because of you, I became known as the guy who assaulted you." Kim Jong Kook reportedly apologized, acknowledging the unintentional misunderstanding.
