Singer Lee Sang Min has spoken out regarding security in South Korea following President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of martial law.
On December 4 KST, Lee Sang Min posted a reassuring message on his social media, accompanied by three exclamation points and a photo containing text in English.
In his message, Lee Sang Min said, "Korea can do well. The people of the Republic of Korea will handle the current martial law situation properly."
He added: "The Republic of Korea is neither at war nor in a chaotic situation. Martial law was declared because of a political confrontation issue, and the National Assembly voted to end this martial law. The Republic of Korea is safe. I want to reassure all those who love the Republic of Korea around the world and are concerned about our country."
Lee's international fans reacted to his post with comments such as, "Take care, Sang Min," "Please take care," "Stay safe oppa," and "Thank you, Sang Min."
