Actress Jung Ho Yeon, famous for her role in "Squid Game," made a remarkable appearance in her first public outing after officially announcing her split.
She attended the world premiere and pink carpet of "Squid Game" season 2 (directed by Hwang Dong Hyuk), held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul on December 9. The appearance marked her public comeback after her breakup with actor Lee Dong Hwi.
The star captivated the audience with her elegant black and white look on the pink carpet, showcasing her model figure and impeccable proportions.
On October 26, Jung Ho Yeon's agency announced that she and Lee Dong Hwi had ended their 9-year relationship, deciding to remain good colleagues. They had started dating in 2015 and made their relationship official in early 2016. Since then, they have publicly supported each other's careers and frequently displayed their affection for each other.
Even after gaining global fame through Netflix's "Squid Game" in 2021, Jung Ho Yeon has often expressed her gratitude towards Lee Dong Hwi. Similarly, when Jung Ho Yeon won the Best Actress award at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, Lee Dong Hwi shared his joy on social media, showing his continued support.
Meanwhile, "Squid Game Season 2" follows Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), who returns with a promise of revenge, and the intense confrontation with the Front Man (played by Lee Byung Hun) as the game resumes. The series is set to premiere on December 26.
