T-ara member and actress Jiyeon and professional baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun have finalized their divorce through mediation, according to news reports on November 21 KST.

A representative for Jiyeon confirmed, “It is true that Jiyeon’s divorce was settled through mediation.”

The mediation took place the day before, November 20 KST, after the legal representatives of both parties met in a mediation session at the Seoul Family Court.

In a previous interaction with her fans regarding her divorce, Jiyeon had stated, "I am sorry to bring you this sad news. We have decided to mediate the divorce by mutual consent. But I promise to come back to you with a positive image in the future."

Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun separated two years after their marriage.
