Actress Han Ye Seul, 43, recently appeared on Shin Dong Yup's YouTube show 'Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup', where she opened up about her personal and professional journey while expressing her trust and affection for her husband, Ryu Sung Jae.

During the show, when asked by Shin Dong Yup about her apprehensions regarding their meeting, Han Ye Seul explained, "Throughout my career, I have faced various incidents and controversies without ever really speaking about them publicly. Today, I thought it was time to open up a little."

She then added: "I have been through so much, like my time in the US, a surgery that went wrong, and the challenges with my husband. People are curious, and despite the criticism, I have never addressed these topics."

In May, Han Ye Seul married Ryu Sung Jae, a non-celebrity man who is ten years her junior. “I wanted to register our marriage on Children’s Day, but it was a holiday, so we opted for May 7. I never dreamed of a big wedding, but I knew I wanted to make our relationship official with him,” she said.

Han Ye Seul also revealed her feelings before meeting her husband: "I instinctively felt my loneliness. I wanted to find my soulmate quickly, but in the face of failures, I thought loneliness would be my permanent burden. Then, I met my husband, and I felt great peace."

Regarding her relationship with her husband's parents, she explained, "I always got along well with my previous boyfriends' mothers, so I was never worried about the in-laws. I was confident that they would like me. My husband's parents never showed any discomfort towards me."

She also spoke about a previous relationship: "I once considered marrying a man whose parents were wonderful, but they had specific expectations for their daughter-in-law that didn't match who I am. It was a shock to me and left me feeling lost, until I met my current husband."

Han Ye Seul concluded, “People may wonder why I chose a difficult path, but finding my other half feels like a miracle. Yes, there are challenges, but I feel accomplished and grateful. Every day is a gift.”
