Former BIGBANG member Choi Seung Hyun , better known by his stage name TOP , has hinted that he might make a comeback in the music industry in 2025. During an interaction with a fan overseas, regarding his solo song "DOOM DADA 2.0," TOP simply replied, "2025." The original song "DOOM DADA" released in 2013 was well-received by the public.

When asked about a possible BIGBANG reunion, TOP did not elaborate, leaving doubts about a solo comeback. Last year, he also sparked interest by announcing that he was still working on his albums. In 2016, TOP received a suspended prison sentence for marijuana use and completed his mandatory military service as a social worker after being deemed "unfit" to be re-enlisted.

After initially announcing his retirement, TOP has returned to acting, including an appearance in the second season of Netflix's Squid Game , which premieres on December 26. Recently, BIGBANG, composed of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, performed a full-length performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards, which was well-received.
