ATEEZ began their journey as KQ Fellaz with eight members who showcased their skills through dance videos. The group was later exposed in a 19-episode series broadcast on YouTube and V LIVE, where they trained in the United States with various professionals. Initially composed of nine members, Jun Young was not part of the final lineup. On July 3, the group was officially named ATEEZ, and they debuted on October 24, 2018 with their first mini album.
