On October 14, Taiwanese media outlet Sanli News Network revealed that 12-year-old Cambodian princess Jenna Norodom is considering moving to Korea to fulfill her dream of becoming a K-pop idol.
Already famous in the Cambodian entertainment industry, Jenna was chosen as a model for a major telecommunications company at the age of eight. Today, she has over 120,000 followers on Instagram and has also gained recognition in the Chinese entertainment industry, appearing in fashion shows and Chinese programs.
The outlet commented, " With her unique appearance and excellent acting skills, many are expecting her to become 'the next Lisa ' or 'the next Minnie .' Her impressive singing and dancing abilities have also attracted attention. Jenna plans to move to Korea to become a trainee and pursue an idol career. "
Jenna is the great-granddaughter of Norodom Sihanouk, the 110th King of Cambodia. Her mother, Princess Norodom Bupphary, is the daughter of King Sihanouk, and her father is a wealthy French businessman.
At just 12 years old, Jenna is fluent in five languages, including Khmer (Cambodian), Thai, Chinese and French.
She is also a big fan of K-pop. During a visit to Korea in 2020 as part of a Cambodian cultural and economic delegation, she revealed that she is a fan of BLACKPINK , TWICE , and MOMOLAND . In an interview with YTN's Global Korean last year, she expressed her love for K-pop music and dance.
Jenna has previously appeared on the Cambodian TV show Khmer TV, and in 2022, she released a song called " You Da One ." Earlier this year, she starred in the Cambodian horror film ' The Night Curse of Reatrei ,' for which she won the Best New Actress award at the 2nd Cambodia Asia Film Festival.
