Les conditions proposées par IST Entertainment pour l'utilisation libre du nom du groupe The Boyz par les membres chez leur nouvelle agence, ONE HUNDRED, ont été dévoilées.

Les rapports des médias du 4 décembre indiquent que l'accord entre IST Entertainment et ONE HUNDRED permettrait à The Boyz de continuer à utiliser leur nom de groupe sans frais et comprend les conditions suivantes :

1. The Boyz continuera de percevoir des revenus de leurs précédentes sorties musicales et contenus distribués par IST Entertainment pendant 1 an après l'expiration de leurs contrats exclusifs.

2. IST Entertainment conservera définitivement les droits principaux (droits d'enregistrement sonore) sur toute la musique publiée par The Boyz depuis leurs débuts. ONE HUNDRED acceptera de ne pas refaire ou remasteriser aucune des chansons originales publiées par The Boyz sous IST. À la place, si The Boyz souhaite utiliser ces chansons pour leurs futures activités, IST exigera une autorisation et un paiement.

3. IST Entertainment reserves the right to continue selling the remaining inventory of The Boyz official merchandise.

De plus, l'accord permettant l'utilisation gratuite du nom et de la marque du groupe sera renouvelé annuellement avec le consentement de tous les 11 membres.

Although ONE HUNDRED initially claimed that IST Entertainment had made "unreasonable financial demands" and even imposed "restrictions on the group’s activities", many fans, after checking the terms themselves, sided with IST Entertainment, arguing that the mentioned conditions were actually "completely reasonable."

Regarding the first condition, it was pointed out that this is generally standard for most agreements where artists move from one agency to another. For the second condition, fans wondered why ONE HUNDRED objected to IST retaining the main rights to The Boyz’s past music, unless the label "intends to re-record the songs to profit from them". Fans felt it was indeed "fair" for IST to receive fees from ONE HUNDRED for using The Boyz’s past songs released by IST, as the label had originally invested in producing the music. As for the third condition, fans again found it "understandable" that IST would continue selling their current stock of The Boyz merchandise, rather than discarding it.
