Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung Reveals Past Conflicts With Former CEO Kim Kwang Soo
Kang Min Kyung's Shocking Revelations
Kang Min Kyung, a member of South Korean boy band Davichi , recently recalled memories of her former agency and its CEO, Kim Kwang Soo, in a video on her YouTube channel of Davichi preparing for a concert.
While reviewing the set list for the concert, Kang Min Kyung and Lee Hae Ri discussed their previous songs, including 'Blue Moon' , a collaboration with Seeya and Black Pearl. This song was called a 'hidden gem' by a staff member, which garnered a positive reaction from Kang Min Kyung.
The discussion also focused on 'Wonder Woman' , a song by the project group Génération des Femmes, which includes members Davichi, Seeya, and T-ara. This song was suggested to be added to the performance, as it was highly appreciated by the team.
Lee Hae Ri mentioned that the song 'My Man' had never been performed in concert. Kang Min Kyung revealed that when 'My Man' was about to reach number one, the CEO asked them to stop promoting to focus on the Women's Generation project, a decision that sparked regret and resentment towards the CEO.
Recently, Kim Kwang Soo was mentioned on a show where he addressed the harassment controversy within T-ara, which prompted a reaction from former T-ara member Hwayoung, who claimed that the harassment she had experienced was real. She was supported by her sister Hyoyoung and another former member, Ahreum.
Hwayoung's revelations against Kim Kwang Soo are serious, accusing the former CEO of knowing about the harassment but doing nothing to address it. This situation continues to cause waves in the South Korean music industry.
